Overview
Before you start entering Chapter Financial Report Information, make sure you have the following information:
- Chapter Financial Activity Form (see the Chapter Secretary Packet) - This form has some information you will need to include
- Financial Institution information and account information
- Names of account signers
- Bank statements for each account the chapter has (including CDs), and each statement shows the end-of-year balance for that account
- If the end-of-year statement does not reflect all 31 days of December but the statement reflects all December transactions, you are required to submit a letter authorizing that no more transactions were made after the ending statement date
- If a CD statement is not available, you are required to submit supporting documentation reflecting account information and ending balance
- Chapter Property Information
- Detailed breakdown of "Other Income" and/or "Other Fraternal Expenses
Other Highlights:
- The table will calculate the figures based on the amounts entered
- Be sure to review the information for accuracy prior to final submission

Program Overview
Our chapter volunteers work hard to make the places where they live and work better through our shared commitment to Family, Community, and Country. This program rewards those chapters for carrying out one hands-on service project each quarter by giving them $400 after the service project is complete. The program also provides an additional $400 for financial reporting and a bonus $500 for new membership growth. These projects are a way to find common ground and connect with people who share WoodmenLife’s values.
Shared Commitment Project Themes:
- Community Focus on Nurses, Teachers, School Supplies, Homeless Shelters, and Community Cleanups
- Family Focus on Care Packages for needy groups, and Organized Shopping for family-support agencies.
- Fighting Hunger Focus on Food Drives and Hunger Relief program volunteering
- Patriotism Focus on First Responders, Veterans, Flag Holiday ceremonies, and Flag Retirements
Dates when projects can be completed:
Q1 – January 1 - March 31
Q2 – April 1 - June 30
Q3 – July 1 - September 30
Q4 – October 1 - December 31
